Program Overview

IDEALABS - The Finishing School is a matchless package of core concepts and project internship. The programme aims at transforming young Engineering graduates into an industry ready engineering work force.

Foundation Module

The Foundation introduces you to the fascinating world of cutting edge technologies and gets you at par with the latest in the Industry. This is done by application demonstrations supported with multimedia resources and knowledge base. Case studies elaborating applications in real life functional domains like Financial Services, Health, Education, E-governance, Travel &Tourism, and Entertainment will help you in understanding the actual use of technology. Most often, this is your first instance of seeing these emerging technologies, live in action.

At IDEALABS we call it Opening Minds.

Internship

During this phase, you are trained on all the finer nuances of implementing an Industry standard solution.

The training covers all phases of development life cycle including Requirement Analysis, Architecture, Programming language, database Design, Coding and Testing with familiarity of tools and devices.

In the process of application development, Strong Programming Language skills are built in a very practical way.

At the end of this module, you are in a position to deploy and demonstrate your application.At IDEALABS we call it Igniting Thoughts.

Industry Interaction

Each trainee is allocated an Industry mentor (person with strong Industry background). The mentors review the case study implementation, share their experiences and help in Personalized Assessment of the trainee.

Career Guidance

The Career guidance module helps build the necessary soft skills customized to suit your individual needs.

The soft skills' training, by field experts, includes Interpersonal skills, presentation skills, team playing abilities apart from resume and Interview skills.

Regular On-Campus and Off- campus Recruitment activities are conducted to provide you potential opportunities.

An Online Repository with authorized access is maintained for future reference. This contains all details of your Internship along with personalized assessment by industry mentor.

Placements

Renaissance broad based Industry network is utilized to maximize the placements for the participants by conducting several On - Campus and Off - Campus placement drives. The support for placement continues even after the completion of the programme - till you get placed.

Q) How will IDEALABS help me in getting a job?

Q) I am not so good at programming…how I can learn all this?

The best thing about the programme is that it does not assume any prior knowledge. Till you have an attitude to learn, we are more than happy to build you from the fundamentals to most advanced concepts.

Q) I already know lot of things covered in the programme like SDLC, Programming language… why should I go thru the process all over again?

We are sure you will discover for yourself the difference between learning all these topics from your academics versus the Industry needed orientation.
